Speaking at Techorama Belgium 2026

TLDR: Slides & code demos on GitHub
From May 11 to 13, I was in Antwerp for Techorama Belgium to give my session, ‘Turning microservice chaos into a beautiful concerto’.
In this session I played music on one of my hardware synthesizers that was sequenced by Dapr Workflow. The audience could experience how Dapr Workflow orchestrates microservices in real-time by listening to the music being played and watching a realtime visualization of the notes and audio waveform on screen. I had a great time performing this session again, and I was happy to see that the audience enjoyed it as well.

It was my first time at Techorama Belgium (I only attended/sponsored the Dutch editions) and I was really impressed by how the organizers managed to create a medieval themed conference. It’s really a joy to speak at Techorama events because they take place in cinemas which huge screens, this makes the experience for a speaker really special.

A big thank you to the Techorama organizers and sponsors for making this event happen, and thanks to the attendees for joining my session and the great conversations afterwards! I’ll see you at the Techorama edition in the Netherlands!
